Monday- 5th grade- We began our Shakespeare unit with some quotes by Shakespeare and acting out a Tableaux. This was a lot of fun! Students completed a pretest on the past experiences with Hands on Equations. Lastly, we used our divergent thinking to create sea life for our wall aquarium and added our on definition of what excellence means to us. Homework: The reflection homework is based on finding facts about Shakespeare.
Tuesday- 4th grade- We began our unit The Evaluative Thinking Curse. Students worked a puzzle to see the many ways to Evaluative Thinking. Next they worked in groups to build team work skills by completing "Broken Squares." This is our Affective Domain theme for this semester. Lastly, we used our divergent thinking to create sea life for our wall aquarium and added our on definition of what excellence means to us. BE SURE TO BRING A TOY CAR FOR OUR EXPERIMENT THIS WEEK.

Wednesday - 2nd grade- We continued our PACE, Primary Algebra, Affective domain, Cognitive Domain and Extension, from 1st grade. Students went on a pattern scavenger hunt. We were amazed at all the patterns in our school. Next we listen to a story about being proactive in our on happiness. Lastly, we used our divergent thinking to create sea life for our wall aquarium and added our on definition of what excellence means to us.
Homework: The reflection homework is based on finding ways to keep from being bored.
Thursday- 3rd grade- We began our unit on HUMOR. We have many joke tellers in our group:) Students participated in their first Hands On Equation lesson. Next we look at the word character in the sense of personal character. Lastly, we used our divergent thinking to create sea life for our wall aquarium and added our on definition of what excellence means to us.
