We had an exciting week getting our Target classes started. I the appreciate students coming to class prepared and ready to dive into the new units!
Monday- 2nd graders are continuing the P.A.C.E.( Primary Algebra, Affective Domain, Cognitive Domain and Extension of the CCGPS)
Tuesday- 4th graders began their Evaluative Thinking Curse Unit. We will study the many ways to use evaluative thinking as well as conduct activities to support the thinking. Our 1st STEM project is to create a model car that will be judged based on distance, speed and looks. The model car cannot have a motor.
Wednesday- 3rd grades began their unit on Robots and Coding. I will send home more information soon about accessing an exciting coding website.
Thursday- 5th graders began their unit of Reinventing Shakespeare. Students learned facts about Shakespeare and performed tableaux.
Friday- 1st graders and several Talent Development students began a study of Leonardo Da Vinci. Students were excited to see they will be reading a Magic Tree House book, Monday with a Mad Genius.
